Parking was nearby and there was handicapped parking. The lot gets very crowded but it was not hard to get from the parking space to and through the front door.
At Olive Garden in Vernon Hills, I ate salad, bread sticks, and chicken gnocchi soup. The soup was hard for me to eat. At the height of lunch hour it was very crowded. There still was plenty of room to move freely in a wheelchair. The lighting in the restaurant was good. It was easy to read the menu. Conversations were noticeable and you could catch some of what people were saying around you. You might need to ask your meal companions to speak a bit louder.
The staff at the restaurant was friendly The service was great, and they were on top of our needs. The menu was large and easy to read with little clutter. There was a seasonal menu that had pictures. The restaurant has plenty of good choices and there were some menu choices for the most common dietary restrictions. Olive Garden publishes a menu with information about allergens and nutrition. The food was pretty good and tasty. I would eat there again. Overall it was very good.
